Passion? What is my meaning?

Passion From My Point of View!

Throughout my life I have experienced and felt many things good and/or bad that has contributed to me as a person in this place called life. Learning things about self has been quite interesting yet not always exciting but its been an adventure for the better. There is this one word that I use quite often to explain strongly how i feel about many things in life, and it is called passion.

I would like to make passion plural for a minute as I pull a few examples out my passion box to share with you. Well lets see...passion for me is when I sit in front of my old Dell PC and compose instrumentals virtually on this program call Reason 4 (which is made by Propellerhead Software) and I can not seem to turn away from it. Even after 8 straight hours! My eyes have been in twitch mode after 4 hours of staring at the screen, legs have been tingling almost the whole time, and my hand has developed a callus! It gets pretty unmanageable. Meanwhile my passion for it keeps me in that very chair obsessively until I completely fall apart! Yet at the end something magical was created and it was worth the time spent! My passion for the sound of music kept me in tune and focused regardless of any physical and mental challenge thrown my way! With passion I succeed!

The sight of life and light within the pure souls of children! My energy drawn to them in every way. Wanting to nurture them, teach them, love them unconditionally, listen to their every word, laugh, snore, or sneeze! Even their who, what, where, when and whys about every little thing. Wanting to know what and how they think and feel before they learn to describe it in their own words. My passion for children is beyond this world. Something I couldn't possibly describe in words but I know is within me!

My mind, body and soul is a tool that I have been given from a greater power than I. I learn day by day and one step at a time that everything that I am is complete and whole and in order to keep what I have, I have to give it away, and use it wisely! Passion's are gift's from within that I have been given which I have chosen to share them in everything that I do! I have the power of choice today. So today I choose to share my passion with you!

Wonderful first hub Ash and a great topic. I can really identify with not wanting to leave that chair when in the midst of creating! It's like a magical place- when I write and get there I call it the "zone"..lol..

Love you Ash and you have lots to contribute to life and helping other people. Keep up the good work.

SoulFlow, GREAT read! Wonderful topic, passion, which comes in various forms and symbols. LOVE your style. I voted up and away. I shared this on Facebook if that is okay with you. Also, I am now a fan and follower. Sincerely, Kenneth Avery, from a rural town, Hamilton, in northwest Alabama, that reminds you of Mayberry, where Andy and Barney lived.
